Planned Parenthood is adamantly against his nomination.........Alito seems to be a staunch conservative.

Apparently his history of votes on reproduction also include NOT putting the health of the mother ahead of abortion rights.

THough I can live with having the father to be notified, I cannot accept his inability to put the mother's health above all else!

Abortion rights will be deteriorating under this nominee..

I too well remember having pregnant girls in school with me and the plight they went through as their pregnancy began to show.

THe father's just got a smile and a pat on the back from their buds..............the girl suffered dramatically and ultimately had to go away to have the child and put it up for adoption.

I have at least two friends who are scarred for life because of an accidental pregnancy. I also have a nephew who is scarred for life because he had a mother that didn't want him.
