Fundamentalist radicals are all the same whether they're Islamists, Christians, Jews or anything else. They so despise people that they wish to make everyone else's lives an utter misery. They do this by taking away as much freedom and liberty as possible and installing a totalitarian regime. In this case that would be one-party rule. I do not think that most Americans realize how tenuous our grip on freedom is. If a tiny minority can take away our right to have (or not have) children, to sue in court, to have our fair share of the economic pie, to have freedom to say our piece in the public square, to be able to critize public officials without endangering the lives of those close to us, to have fair democratic elections.....then what do we have left? IMO, we're marching ever closer to destroying the Republic and installing a totalitarian regime. Can't happen here? Ask industrial powerhouse Germany about what can or can't happen anywhere.
