Notice how oil prices went down as soon as Senators and congressman started promising to investigate gouging. The thieves are trying to take the money and run again. Same thing they did when Jeffords switched parties giving Democrats subpoena powers. Once the Dems regain congress and Bush-cheney are gone, oil prices will slide further.
