Money has nothing to do with test scores. Look at Washington DC, highest per capita spending in the Nation and the lowest test scores too. Kansas ran an experiment a few years back and built sparing no expense on a New High school in a disadvantaged neighborhood. No increase in test scores. You can spend all the money you want, but the laws of diminishing returns apply. You raise the example of no school librarian. Well if there were no public libraries too, you'd have a point, but there are public libraries for even elementary school kids to go to. You know the section with the tiny shelves? I also think every school district wastes tons of money on Phys Ed and sports programs. If you want to play a sport, join a rec league. Nobody should get shortchanged on math and science and English teachers to pay for Phys Ed teachers and stadiums and uniforms.
