SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- MacKenzie Patterson Fuller, Inc. and affiliates (collectively, "MPF") today announced it has offered to purchase up to 500,000 shares of common stock of AmeriVest Properties Inc. (Amex: AMV - News) for a price of $4.00 per share, representing a premium to October 28, 2005 closing price of 9.59% and a 13.54% premium to the trailing 10 day average closing price. MPF currently owns approximately 329,350 shares which, when added to the 500,000 shares sought through this offer, would result in combined ownership of approximately 3.45% of the outstanding shares of AMV |
