IMO, you'd have a problem convincing people of that. While pot may have all the nasty things that cigarettes do it's missing the main cancer trigger, nicotine. One other thing that regulation could do is set standards and develop breeds of cannabis that minimize the ingestion of the nasty stuff (now that's scientific eh?<g>). As far as breathing second hand pot smoke we have worse pollution that no one seems to complain about in the form of fire places, wood burning stoves and burning leaves in the fall.
