Simple Simon's Shorting Logic

Simon, I've read your posts for a few months now. The same Ashton "will crash" BS. I guess taking the contrarian view while others are bullish (and probably a little over excited) makes you feel important.

But what's your logic ? Here's a stock that's reported "good" preliminary results, has a large land holding and sufficient funds to finance its exploration.

So lets assume you shorted today at $5.00. What's the upside ? Ashton falls to $2.00 on poor results (remember potential is still there). Or, results confirm a mine. Assuming similar cap to ABER (ie 40% interest), this company could be worth $700 million or so. With 25 million shares after rights issue, stock could be worth $30 or so.

Go ahead, short it.
