Well, the STRANGE thing about Libby is he CONVICTED HIMSELF. As I understand it he FREELY surrendered all notes and papers that APPARENTLY indicate that he mislead the investigators and the Grand Jury when he said he had learned of plame through reporters when the notes REPUTEDLY say he learned from staff meetings with Cheney when they were discussing the LIES Wilson was telling that CHENEY asked for him to go to Nigeria. The Strangeness of it all is this: Had he WILLINGLY been involved in a coverup why would he have surrendered the indicting notes knowing they would refute his VERBAL tesimony? The other thing that is hard for us NORMAL FOLK to understand is the CRIME is supposed to be the OUTING OF PLAME YET no indictment on that instead talk of 30 YEARS in prison for saying something different then the written info he supplied. How many times did Clinton say, I CANT RECALL? Republicans have to learn from slick Willy. jdn
