This is a really weak smear, especially since Joe Wilson is a national hero, much admired and praised by Bush Sr., and if you want to compare drug-taking in the 60's, let's look at GW Bush himself, an admitted alcoholic party boy who certainly did drugs, cocaine primarily. In fact he was rumored to have been arrested for cocaine in 1971, which explains why he went AWOL.
Also, so what if Wilson ever smoked pot? So what no matter what Wilson ever did? This isn't about Wilson, it's about high crimes by the White House. And it doesn't change the fact that Libby-Rove-Cheney outed a covert CIA agent on WMD's during a war based on WMD's. And why did they do it? To cover up their lies about WMD's. That, my friend, is tantamount to treason. And nothing Hannity can think up will change that. |
