let's see. a bomb is dropped on a house, from a few miles up, on a 'tip' from a neighbor. no-one bothers to check afterwards what actually happened ( surprise, suprise, there often are people in houses ) . the military says "we haven't had any reports" of civilian casualties - which is their stock answer when they bomb away with their 'precision' missiles and kill a lot of civilians. as usual, the doctors from the Iraqi hospital receiving the dead and wounded say otherwise ( of course, all Iraqi doctors are liars, right? ) .
no-one even knows for sure whether there really WAS an 'Al Quaeda leader' in the house, and if so, whether he was killed. remember, it was just a 'tip from a neighbor' ( imagine for a moment that the situation were completely reverted. Iraqi troops - ungodly Muslims all - occupy the US. your neighbor, who bears you a grudge, tells them that a leader of some resistance militia is hiding in your house. they bomb you and yours away, and never check what actually happened ) .
well, one thing is absolutely certain: the dead civilians won't be counted. we 'don't have reports' of any casualties, right? ( only, there was actually footage of the casualties on PBS in this particular case ) . that means they don't exist.
