We need national health care badly. It would be a huge savings and take much of the profit gouging and pork barrel spending out of the health care field. Studies have proven government programs are more efficient that private.

If you don't believe that, look at what happened when New Mexico turned its prison system over to Wackethutt corporation, or when we deregulated the energy business. The pigs went right to the troughs and ripped us off. Health care costs have doubled under Bush despite no real inflation. It's outrageous. It actually gets people killed. Including a lot of babies.
