The 2000-2004 elections were stolen with lies, cheating, phony terrorist alerts, media manipulation, smears and fraud. Also no sitting president has ever lost in the midst of a war which was one reason Bush started it.

Look at the current polls. 39% approval for the president. 17% approval for DElay and the GOP congress. 57% disapproval of Bush and his war. Maybe that's the bottom, but maybe not. Nixon got down to 35% before he resigned. Eighteen months earlier, Nixon had beaten McGovern by 20%,. a huge landslide. Bush arguably won by 1% or less.

Also look at the 2006 midterm polls. democrats up by 10%, enough to take back at least one house of congress and tie the other. Enough to impeach. for extremely strong reasons.
