They didn't have copies of the forged documents, but they knew about their content, because that information was given to the CIA by what we now know where the Italians. The CIA did brief Wilson about the content of the documents. He did collect the names of the officials that should be appearing on the documents at that time. When the documents became available, intelligence analysts overwhelmingly noted they were forged. Some of the names and dates were wrong. This is information that Wilson collected. How hard would it be to merge the two true elements into a single fact in your memory? Remember more than a year had gone by before he spoke to the commission. Besides, he knew by then that the Italians had been the source of the forged intel, and the CIA said no one remembered telling him that. Perhaps his wife told him...and that is why he said he mis-spoke. I can't tell what went on there from this report, and neither can you. But calling him a bald faced liar, when what he said was actually true doesn't make any sense at all. The only bald faced liar so far is Libby. Caught red handed. Orca
