What happened to Dell's vaulted business model? IMO, Dell is following the path that all growth business follow as they grow. They hit the wall of "large number" and losing touch with their customers. Dell isn't going to fix the company over night. In fact, they might never recover if the competition can continue to cut into their business. Competition such as Acer, Lenovo and now HP.

Has anyone noticed that things started to go south after Rollins took the rains of the company? Maybe Michael had better get back into the daily business activities.

I hope Kemble wasn't wrong when he said, "someday Dell will own it all".

By the way, Dell recently let the President of their China Operations go. So, I must conclude that things aren't going well in the Chinese markets. Interesting how Dell's announcement said that sales were soft in the U.S. and UK, nothing said about China. Is this the next shoe to drop?

I just returned from a trip to China, and believe me, Lenovo means business. Now that they have integrated the IBM business into there business they are out to take command of the PC market. Dell had better take them very serious, and I mean very serious.
