1 - If the British told the US government that Saddam Hussien did such a thing then Bush mentioning it wasn't a lie, even if the information passed along was known by the British to be false.

2 - Even if it was a deliberate lie that doesn't support your contention that "No President has made such and out-and-out deliberate lie in the SOTU before."

3 - Even if it was a lie, and such a lie had never been made in a SOTU address before, there is no legal support in the constitution or our laws to call the lie perjury or treason. If you think it was a horrible disgraceful lie than the proper response is to vote for someone else (which I'm fairly sure you did).
