You miss his point. The H1-B program and many other immigrant programs are supported by business as a way of bringing in cheap labor to drive down labor costs.

That lowers wage scales for Americans.

I believe immigration rates are so great now that it does much more harm than good. Immigration rates are in the millions each year and is causing many ills (environmental, language divisions, excessive ethnic clanishness and others).

Immigration laws must be reformed. And immigration rates need to be reduced.
