Classified and covert are the same. It's a crime to leak the ID. The rest of her role at the CIA remains classified so it can't be discussed. The dishonest RNC has used this forced silence to openly lie about Plame and Wilson, hoping that doofuses believe them and repeat the lies enough time to hoodwink gullible voters in the hinterlands. But nobody who can read believes any of the RNC crap.
