Alito's mother said they OF COURSE he is against abortion, they both are (like Norman Bates and his mother I guess) and that her son was angry he got passed over for Miers previously. Sounds like he wants to legislate from the bench, exactly what the rightwing claim they're against. Sounds like he's got his ego in it and is a rightwing ideologue. The GOP had better watch it too. the vast majority of Americans want the government to butt out of a woman's private personal health decisions. If the religious right hijacks the GOP again on this, the party will lose millions and millions of supporters.
