Very cool. Thanks for the article Bill. I just happen to be in Garmish, Germany for a week vacation. A couple of days ago I survived something called para-sailing. Basically what you do is go to the top of a mountain and launch yourself like a kite, then perform a controlled landing. Good thing the instructor knew what he was doing! It was a lot of fun and an absolutely picturesque day to do it. Just returned from a palace called Schloss Herrenchiemsee. One of the last German kings built it and threw a ton of money into it back in the 1800. Interesting tour. Tomorrow it's off to Cinderalla's castle. Or the facimilla there-of. My 10 year old daughter is looking forward to that trip. ;-) This part of Germany is beautiful this time of year, and the accomadations at the Aldevise Lodge could not be more kid friendly. Reminds me a lot of Western Washington.
