I assumed your point was that students were choosing not to come to America (elite=political) as opposed to being denied access. No, I was thinking of the time when conditions in their home countries improve and they no longer have to leave home and come here to have a good life. When they stop coming, will we be able to replace them from our home-grown crop? I'm not so sure. I think our education system is a scandal.
