Doug: The new Internet Downloader doesn't involve going to the site or entering anything into the drop box. I first went to the site and then subscription files and got to the drop box, and it didn't accept the name and password. That's when I found the Internet Downloader icon in my QPPLUS2 directory. It's a gray globe, and the application is QP Net. You get on line and then double-click on the icon, and everything is done without any drop boxes. Do you have this application in your version? It is mentioned in an attachment to the QPPLUS2 instructions (the written-out instructions) that came with the beta, an attachment dated Aug. 22.

I must have the same problem with dll files, by the way, because I have to use the new Internet Downloader. The QP site won't accept my name and password if I try to download by going to the site.

I haven't tried downloading by phone yet. Have you? If so, did you need to put in a modem initialization string?
