My friend mentioned....Flat Quarter. I did ask him what it will take to turn things around and how long would it take? He did not really have a answer and I didn't want to push him. Since I'm also in sales (another high tech company), I did get a chance compare my compensation program with theirs. And theres look pretty good. However, since the products have pretty much been "selling themselves" for the longest time....their quotas are very high. This is very typical of a software/hardware company with a "Famous Name and Popular Products". As a comparison, some of the software sales reps in CA have quota's of $30 Million a year. All in all, he still beleives in the products and the company.
