So what do you think of the Supreme Court pick? I'm sorry that Bush had to imply, by his picks, that the only capable woman he could find was Meirs (what a joke), and that barring her, he has to pick a guy. Of course I also favor a litmus test- and I would boot this guy if he thinks he is going to change Roe, just as I would boot off anyone who thought they would change the travel cases. I do not think it would be healthy to change either, and I don't have any qualms about litmus tests- and no one else does either, really, they just aren't honest about it. It's clear Bush has a very hard and fast test for his nominees, but he'd lie until he was blue in the face if you asked him directly about it. Go figure.
