FWIW, Scion Capital is the hedge fund of Dr. Michael Burry, a former SIer (and, based on his work here, someone I have a lot of respect for). There was a bit of a dustup on the TMF board when Burry got into a dialogue with Byrne without realizing that one of his old posts from a few years ago revealed who he was, and someone who noticed this outed him. There was nothing particularly nefarious in what Burry posted - though he didn't reveal his ownership position it was easy enough to infer that he had one - but he was apparently agitated enough about it to have TMF remove the whole thread along with every other post he ever made there (there were only about 10 or 15). We're mostly in reruns right now, but this remains one of the best shows on the internet. I can't wait for the new season.
