I guess he wasn't on the take after all? Ritter got paid by one of Saddams henchmen who I believe got some oil money. In any case, there was never any doubt, he admitted getting the bucks for a "film" to be made about it. Today, he is just another darling of the international left. Not as much here because of the sex charge. They care much less about that overseas.
