Again you insist on saying that he implied that he had seen the docs before they existed. He has never said that. After that fact he makes the bold statement of having always known they were forgeries. Timing is everything. I never said that Cheney himself had disregarded the report. I said the Administration had. Someone decided that it did not rise to the level to need to be seen by either the President or the Vice President. That was an ill fated decision. Though I do believe that they were hell bent on invading Iraq and little would have stopped them. I am not as steamed with the senate because they authorized the use of military force as a last resort. But ultimately the responsibility for going to war lies at the feet of GW. He is the commander and chief. jb
