I am going to be out of SI possibly till the new year, so any posts of mine will be intermittent at best...but to answer your question, I think the easy money in CD is behind us. I can see it go 0.90 USD, but in truth Bank of Canada does not like to see their dollar much above where it is now. IF, and this is a very big if, BoC chooses not to intervene, then CD could go to 1.05 USD. But I don't see that likely. I think the story here is that you want to find a country with rich natural resources that is not a banana republic or crony capitalist. Canada is the best candidate, but they are too tied to US which is why BoC does not like an exceedingly strong currency...may be you can find a good investment in LatAm. Their stock markets have been the best performers...or perhaps you should buy the two James Rogers travelogues for some ideas.
