VoxBox Announces Successful US Rollout Launch; New Customer Sign Up Occurring Daily
VANCOUVER, BC, Nov 02, 2005 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- VoxBox World Telecom Inc. (OTC: VXBX) announced today that the initial rollout of VoxBox services in the US has been very successful. Since the launch of the Website for US customers (www.myvoxbox.com), the response has been tremendous and customer sign up is occurring at quality levels on a daily basis.
Mr. Ray Prescott, President and CEO of VoxBox World Telecom, Inc., said: "With the recent agreements with which we have signed and the sponsorship of Braun Racing in the NASCAR Busch series, we have begun to sign up US customers with a quality take rate. We are on the right track to major success and through our partnerships such Macro Communications, Inc., Gulf Coast Wireless and Infinity Mobile, more Voxbox customers are on the way."
VoxBox recently signed an agreement with Macro Communications, an Atlanta, Georgia-based company, which will provide VoxBox with the network capacity to initially service up to 150,000 customers in the US market.
VoxBox also recently signed an agreement with Gulf Coast Wireless to provide VoIP services to its customer base. Gulf Coast Wireless has several large projects on the drawing board and VoxBox recently announced it will be providing Gulf Coast Wireless a VoxBox VoIP solution for a 1,000-unit apartment complex in the Chicago area.
