I am no expert in this matter and have to rely on what I am told, however as far as the water problem goes I understand that Fred Oliver did a study for UGR and concluded that it would be feasible to bring the field into production by balancing the rate of gas production against the water influx and indicated that a production rate of 50 million cf/d for 30 years would be feasible.
One also has to remember that the infrastructure for the field is already in place as Amoco spent $105 million to develop the feild in the 60's and 70's. Also a gas plant, gathering system and 110 miles of pipeline are already in place.
