re: We elect a leader and then we trust that they will fulfill their obligations to uphold what the office stands for and their duty to the American people. Bush Jr. has done nothing but enrich his cronies and the expense of the American people. And to think I defended him for his first several years in office. I voted for him in '00 but realized the horrible mistake about 2 days after 9/11. He can't do it alone... both houses are passing these laws, most with significant Democratic support. The special interests have learned how to game our democratic system... I'm not sure how we get it back. John
