I'm going to post right after this a very interesting article. I'm all for 1st amendment protection for just about any internet posting, with possible exceptions for terrorist related postings. What's funny is that this was posted on an SI board here where the proponents get very upset when other posters attack hedge funds or their alleged scamming. Even funnier is that these pretenders to freedom and anonymity were bamboozeled by "bob o'brien," noted hedgie and MM scam critic, as they spent tons of money and wasted time and space trying to track down his real identity. You could just feel their excitement turn to pain and humiliation when they discovered he had led their sleuths to a strip club!!!

Note in the article that there is a newsletter that admittedly is for hedge funds. It is alleged that the newsletter writer posts on message boards. He denies it apparently. This is very similar to the charade we often see that there are no "paid bashers." They often write paragraphs trying to define pay and bash. Most of us know that with common sense what has happened over the past few years.

You have hedge funds now controlling the trading in markets, not just equities. It's estimated that 1/2 US equity trades are hedge fund. It's a trillion dollar industry Yet these clowns say with a straight face that they are not scamming, they are honest, "trust us," we're efficient so we will protect you by making money off other scams, etc.

"no paid bashers." What a joke.
