Well, ok. Apparently he told Bush and McClellan that he had no role in leaking her identity to reporters. We also know that he originally told the grand jury that he learned that Plame was a CIA operative from reporters. Assuming that the reporters didn't change their notes, we know the latter to be at variance with the facts. Even Karl admits that, he later changed his testimony to the claim that he found out about Plame from Scooter. Assuming the mysterious 'Official A' mentioned in the indictments is, in fact, Karl, the assurances he was giving about having no role in the affair is also unsupported by the facts...
