Norm,
I know, Tech knows, we all know the revenue estimates made by Alydaar for FYE98 and 99. They were 50 million for 98 and 100 million for 99. Mr. Gruder has said himself that he purposefully has avoided hyping ALYD. In my opinion in relation to these revenue figures, this was an extreme understatement.
The facts that I pay most attention to are the ones paid for in actual dollars. One of these is payroll. ALYD currently has about 270 employees. I believe figures for actual programming personnel is about 175. Each programmer is capable with SMARTCODE of processing 250,000 LOC per month. Estimates are to add about 125 to 150 more as needed when production reaches 70% of capacity. Lets extrapolate in the following equation:
250,000LOC x 12 x $.40 = $1,200,000 per programmer $50,000,000 /$1,200,000= 42 programmers needed to process total revenue for FYE98 and 84 programmers needed to process total estimated revenue for FYE99. :=) ;=) >>>> $$$$$$$$$. As the Monk would say, Need I say more ?
Regards,
Gerry
PS. Tech, sometimes vision is needed to go beyond what is readily seen. BTW, don't let the Monk kid you about not knowing fundamentals. He knows them backward and forward and inside out. |
