There was a family and 3 of them died, sequentially, several days apart. Father and 2 children I think [maybe one lived]. That's one example. Whether they caught it from each other or from the same hen doesn't make much difference.

What matters is whether the bug has don't a reformation into a virulent humanized version and there's no evidence that I'm aware of that that has happened yet.

I don't have any links and can't be bothered looking.

The point I'm making is that people are misunderstanding the human to human, versus hen to human issue. If a hen can give it to a person, then a person can give it to a person. It's pretty obvious, to me anyway.

It already can be transmitted person to person. It's just a matter of how easily. So far, not very easily. But I bet it's easily enough that you won't find nurses and doctors giving patients a goodnight kiss.
