ABS Selects Chyron Duet Microx For Live Graphics Capability

Advanced Broadcast Services (ABS), has selected a Chyron Duet MicroX Character Generator (CG) to provide graphics for its new playout facility.
The installation was carried out by UK systems integrator, VSC Design.
Duet MicroX, Chyron’s single-channel CG that packs big Duet LX power into 2 RU and includes Chyron’s award-winning Lyric compositing application, allows ABS to add graphical layers on to live/interactive programming in addition to providing its clients with instant communication with viewers in the form of on- screen scrolls and crawls. ABS plays out a variety of content from shopping channels on the Sky satellite platform to 24/7 entertainment channels with programmes ranging from Bollywood movies to religious programmes across a wide footprint including Europe, US, Middle East and India.
