The failure of Europe and Japan to tighten (the US has it's tightening done for them (by FCBs), being a gigantic debtor nation) in the face of runaway inflation.

They are way behind the curve. The US is also attracting flows from leveraged funds who are borrowing (thus printing money out of thin air) in Euro and Yen to speculate in junk (like mortgages right as the housing market craters).

When they do so, that puts pressure against those currencies.
