X208, first can you direct me to where I can see that ASND's mgt has stated they are comfortable analysts' numbers? Secondly, which numbers are they supposedly comfortable with...the original earnings or the revamped lower earnings numbers? Thirdly, hopefully you are not so naive to think that it is just ordinary investors/traders like you and me that has caused ASND to fall from $55 to $35. With the huge volume and downward pressure, there are some institutions that are clearing out huge supplies of stock. This is institutional selling moving the stock and it will be institutional buying that will send it higher.....us investors/traders don't mean squat when it comes to moving big stocks like ASND. I'd rather some analysts come out with hold ratings now than long term buy also...that way there is more room for upgrades when things turnaround. As far as comparing ASND with PAIR, I think you should know that PAIR fell from $40 to $15 in 5 months and then went into a trading range for 4 months before reversing. So please don't compare these 2 stocks...that is not helping your cause. Lastly, believe me the dark clouds covering ASND aren't just going to disappear miraculously in a few days let alone a few weeks. ASND will find a bottom and then it will find a trading range before heading upward.....that is the way stocks behave. I am a trader by profession and I will not be in ASND at the bottom but I will reenter when it finds its trading range and the earnings fears have subsided. Brian
