viewer, you may be correct that the claims from Buyin and Essary are way over blown. Who knows? That's the issue. Who knows? I'm sure there are some people who know exactly what the situation is but the lack of response by those "in the know" is fueling these calls of "massive naked shorts" or of Wall St. insiders (GS, ML, DTC, et al) claiming there isn't a problem because they make untold money from these games/scam/situations (take your pick). The failure to deliver issue seems like a clear cut problem. How big is the problem? Who knows? Do you think a light should be shined on this situation so that real answers are forthcoming? Isn't the issue that no one knows the extent of the possible naked short situation because the large brokers and the clearing houses won't allow a light to be shined on the subject?
