I looked up Ampligen and found that it is an interferon inducer, and can inhibit viral replication. It looks like there are a lot of claims for it, and I haven't had a chance to look at the studies with CFS. If it induces interferon and inhibits viruses, wouldn't that account for some of the claims related to its possible use in avian flu?
