Re the riots in France: The news tonight looks grim in France.
The news looks grim for Europe.
It is interesting that rioting (or anarchy) is breaking out all over France. It will only be a matter of time before some areas in France will demand autonomy, just like the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand... and long before that, in India which became two countries, one called Pakistan. Yet as we have seen recently in Bombay, India, the bombing of innocents continues to this day, long after the Pakistan Muslims won independence.
The riots may be brought under control temporarily or not, Either way I believe it is only a matter of time before we see what MSM will label a "Civil War" breaks out in France. Perhaps we already have. There is nothing 'civil' about a Civil War, folks are usually downright un-civil when killing you.
Surprising that the 'Religion of Peace' folks in Holland, Sweden, Germany and other enclaves in Europe have not joined in. I think it's just a matter of time, or timing. A few years at most.
France would not send troops with us going into Iraq, even after they voted for it at the UN, neither would Germany and Russia, many believed as I did then, and still believe today, that they didn't do so because they didn't want to 'upset' the 'in country' populations.
France, as a Nation, was perceived as being weak, and rightfully so. They are now paying for their lack of a backbone.
Spain...not far behind. All it took was a few bombs in trains, they gave up and bugged out. They will pay for that lack of courage, in spades, later.
The world-wide level of terrorism is ripe for expansion. When it touches us again, everyone will blame it all on America.
If we can continue to keep it off our own shores, everyone else will be forced to address their local terror problem. But I don't believe that is going to be possible.
Remember the numbers.
There are 1.5 billion Muslims.
10% are militant. That is 150 million
10% of them are militant extremists. That is 15 million.
10% of them are capable of a suicide attack on any day. That is 1.5 million.
They are never going to run out of attackers or suicide bombers.
The only quick way I see out of this (on a world-wide basis) is for the 90% group of Muslims to stop the others. That won't happen because at least 50% of them are sympathizers.
The WOT was originally projected to last 25-30 years. After 4 years of it, that looks like a very light estimate now. |
