Bush has created thousands of new terrorists. His policies have actually helped Osama Bin Lauden. It's really awful. As for counter-terrorism, I'm with Kerry. You do it with excellent intel, fierce concentration, working closely with allies, then once you find the rats you exterminate them. Invading and occupying Iraq without a proper coalition was the worst thing Bush could have done in terms of the War On Terror. It made us much the bad guys to much of the third world, made us militarily much weaker and got way too many US soldiers killed and maimed.
