I like to pose the question this way- what if the EU invaded the US to stop us from treating minorities unjustly, and to stop us from killing and imprisoning such a great proportion of our population?

I have to say that even as a liberal, who HATES the imprisonment rate in this country (for drug crimes), and who completely disagrees with the imposition of the death penalty, and who absolutely hates and distrusts the government as it is now, I still would happily blow up invaders of my country, because they don't have any right to invade my country and make decisions for it (even I would like those decisions.) I would have a problem blowing up innocent civilians- but I don't think I would see them as innocent if they cooperated with the invading force.

I imagine many Iraqis feel the same way.
