Denise Rich was divorced from Marc Rich at the time of the pardon. By all reports at the time, they remained close friends after the divorce and he was very generous with his financial support to her. Nobody said that any of Denise Rich’s money went directly into Clinton’s pocket. Does $450,000 qualify as a “modest” donation?

Marc Rich's socialite ex-wife has donated an estimated $1 million to Democratic causes, including $70,000 to Hillary Clinton's successful Senate campaign and $450,000 to the Clinton presidential library fund.

Compare to WorldCom which gave Trent Lott a million bucks for a library he isn't even remotely close to building. Now that was a pay-off.

Really? The Trent Lott Leadership Institute has been up and running since 1999. You need to update your database. John McCain will be lecturing there later this month.

Its a good looking building. I have to assume that you were not in attendance when it opened. Take a look:

By the way, were you personally aware that WorldCom was cooking its books in 1999? I think not. It would seem that the SEC was asleep at the wheel and completely missed this Clinton era fraud.
