Anyone still following ECGI I know this stock has a terrible track record, but at below book prices (much of the book pure cash investments) with profits (albeit primarily investment profits), it seems attractive to me at this point. The US tax tax ruling (see recent release) making the company a PFIC has been a short-term trading negative. I think (verify for yourself) that owning in an IRA avoids all negative tax consequences. MC
