Maurice! If I buy your notion that QCOMs essential patents are more essential then others.What happens when they expire.I suppose the basic CDMA patents will expire in a few years.Or is is so systematically even for later patents that QCOMs IPR is more valuable(I guess I know your answer)? What do you think of the GSM patents ?should QCOM pay for them or not?.QCOMs WCDMA ASICs would not be possible to sell without having GSM implemented. /R
