Perhaps he will. But you are wrong, since as you noted to start, for now, to support the McCain anti-torture proposal, he has to eat the whole rest of a bill besides. And too, it's relatively easy for him to pass over for now, since torture is already against U.S. policy, and his specific stated policy. Even Powell's helper, as I noted, could only say that the administrations attempt at a tough stance with prisoners (arguably appropriate, indeed) LED to ABUSES. Perhaps so. No illegal ordered abuse is shown by that. One doesn't order that smile on Lindy England's face, and doesn't know it will occur ahead of time from the oval office. It's your bag to believe the worst of Bush, perhaps imagining him secretly viewing video of extreme torture daily, as in an addiction (which vision seems implied as true, by statements which can be read on this thread). But in reality, well, are you really so correct?
