That is why the CC does not pursue the thousands of people who have never come forward from being "betrayed," as you so politely put it. Raped and sexually abused is the more accurate expression. Thousands of people live in abject psychological misery for priests lap time, but the church certainly has no interest in seeking them out. They're all over the nation, a silent group of people that have abused by priests, in need of mental medical attention and compensation for ruined lives.
