Besides, its not about whether the Bush administration is being falsely or unfairly accused. We already know they've done a ton of damage. The administration is either badly corrupted or incompetent, or both. You put you money on the wrong horse. Face it and move on.

I was not happy about the Miers appointment. And I'm not happy about the spending. But the economy is quite strong, my taxes are lower, and under the most extremely difficult circumstances.

But it has now been four years since 9/11 and the military under Bush has done a fantastic job of making the United States a safer place. To me, that is more important than everything else.

Consider what Bush has had to contend with -- the attempted theft of his first election win, a hateful, divisive contingent of Democrats from day one, 9/11, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq; now Katrina, the biggest US natural disaster in history and all manner of crap in between.

The man has done a fantastic job. No previous administration in our lifetimes has dealt with anything approaching the scale of these issues.

The Liberals need to STFU, quit bitching, and try to be part of the solution rather than trying to be part of the problem.

History makes its mind up many years after the man is out of office. There is no doubt this Bush administration will be remembered in very favorable terms.
