Marc Rich was Scooter Libby's boy. I have read "Metal Men" too and I can tell you Rich is no democrat. In fact he's not even an American really. I can't remember all the details but Rich is a high-flying shark who scams commodities around the world and tries to avoid taxes in the process. He is famous for his scams in and out of Russia. Rich is reputed to have been lobbied for by Israeli intelligence. Also, Rich was Marvin Davis's partner taking over 20th Century Fox. Davis was a well-known Reaganite. Point being, Rich is no friend of CLinton's. So how did he get a pardon? WHo knows? I doubt Clinton would pardon someone just for library money. Then again, he left office ten million in debt thanks to the smear campaign and Monica scandal which he had to pay for out of his own pocket. If Bush finishes his term (a big if) he will no doubt pardon all kinds of huge white collar criminals like Kenny Boy Lay, people who have put millions into his own pocket. Lay is a much bigger enemy of the American people than Rich. Lay is responsible for stealing tens of billions from average Americans. Rich never did anything like that.
