Tejman: you will be entitled to the share dividend and/or
the equivalent split in your options (ie, the number of contracts
will be doubled, while their strikes and premiums be halved) even
if you buy share/options the day before the split.

The difference between before and after Sept. 25 is
that holders as of the record date are garanteed to have the
dividends on their accounts by next trading day after the
split. Those who bought after the record date might get the
dividents/extra options with some (usually, a few days) delay.

I learned this from comments by experienced investors on INTC
and MSFT threads. PG
